Fishing around Kansas

We have been fortunate in having access to some great places to fish in Kansas.

We have enjoyed fishing on farm ponds and lakes across the state, from the Cimarron National Grasslands in far southwest Kansas to farm ponds around Lawrence in northeast Kansas and from reservoirs by Hays in northwest Kansas to secluded ponds in southeast Kansas...with many destinations in between.

Ken McCloskey/KDWP has been involved with Pass It On from the very beginning, providing instruction to both Bigs and Littles on the finer points of fishing.

Fishing with the local Boy Scouts Venture troop was a great time for all, allowing the scouts to learn more about BBBS and the Littles to learn more about scouting.

Steve Shirley has hosted a number of catfishing outings for Littles and matches on Grand Lake in OK.
