Hunter Education Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors requires that all youth participating in hunting activities must first pass a state certified hunter education/safety class, regardless of the state regulations. Some states do not require that all youth have taken a hunter safety class if they are hunting with a qualified mentor. We do, regardless. We also encourage our mentors to have taken the class as well. Once the new hunters-to-be have successfully passed the Hunter Education class, we try to offer a training hunt to reinforce the lessons learned in the classroom with actual experience in the field. Here
