In Kansas, we are blessed with some of the best upland bird hunting opportunities in the country. Not only is there usually a good number of pheasants and quail, but the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks has a Walk-In Hunting Access program that opens hundreds of thousands of acres of private land to public hunting.
