iGunDog.com to Support
Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors, Inc.
November 5, 2010, Wichita, KS. iGunDog.com and Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors, Inc. are joining forces to get more children outdoors! To help raise the financial resources needed to recruit mentors, iGunDog.com will be donating a portion of every sale to Pass It On.
Brian Krenzin, President of iGunDog.com stated, “We are extremely proud to support such an awesome organization. We recognize the important role that Pass It On can have in the life of a child. Our business is proud to help develop programs and activities that support the efforts of the Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors. Involving youth in outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing is a great way to build self confidence, pride, respect, and discipline.”
iGunDog.com has been serving America’s outdoorsmen since 1988. iGunDog is a leading supplier of gun dog supplies such as electronic collars, nutritional supplements and health supplies.
“The Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors program is honored to have iGunDog.com supporting our efforts to give more children the opportunity to experience the great outdoors,” stated Mike Christensen, President of Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors, Inc. “Brian and the great folks at iGunDog.com have been involved in local youth hunting programs for a number of years. Stepping up to help us grow the Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors program on a larger scale demonstrates their support and commitment to getting kids outdoors. We look forward to working with iGunDog.com to see many more of our youth have the opportunity to learn to hunt and fish with a caring mentor showing them the way.”
Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors works with youth mentoring organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters to recruit mentors who will share their passion for the outdoors with children who would more than likely have little chance to spend time learning to hunt, fish, hike, camp or participate in traditional outdoor activities. Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors began as a program under Kansas BBBS in 2002 and launched as a separate 501(c)3 organization in 2006. In 2008, Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors was endorsed by the National Forum on Children and Nature as one of 30 programs (out of 560 evaluated) nationwide that demonstrate new and creative ways to reconnect kids with nature.
