Kansas R3 Summit
January 26, 2018
Drury Hotel, Wichita, KS
The Kansas R3 (Recruitment, Retention & Reactivation) Summit is scheduled for January 26th at the Drury Broadview Hotel in Wichita. We are urging all hunters and anglers to join us as we partner with KDWPT, DU, Delta Waterfowl, NWTF, PF, QF, RMEF, Fishing Future, KBA, QDMA and any and everyone else concerned about the future of our outdoor heritage!
Our goal is to build on what everyone is doing within their own organization encouraging partnership and cooperation to work together to get more folks in the fields and on the water, hunting & fishing! After morning sessions which will get everyone up-to-date on national R3 efforts, we have planned breakout sessions to discuss Kansas solutions that participants can take home to their communities.
We have John Frampton, President of the The Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports joining us to talk about R3 efforts on a national scale. We have Matt Dunfee/Wildlife Management Institute, who will be helping us explore how KS can put efforts on the ground now to address our declining license sales (Matt is the architect off the National Hunting and Shooting Sports Action Plan).
We also have folks from QDMA, the R3 Coordinator for Georgia and other folks from around the country coming to share their R3 successes with us so that we can hit the ground running with R3 efforts in KS.
We have folks from the outdoor industry, including Vista Outdoor, Cabela's, and Sutherland's discussing R3 from their perspective.
But we need you to join us! Get your tickets today!
BTW, your $20 ticket to the R3 Summit includes lunch and a weekend pass to the Kansas Monster Buck Classic.
