Youth Aquatic Education Day

Clinton State Park chapter of Fishing’s Future will host Fishing Clinics from NOON – 3:00 p.m. 

COST: $5.00/DAILY VEHICLE PERMIT (If your vehicle doesn't already have an annual permit or you don't have a park passport from purchasing with your vehicle registration.)

We will have fishing education and casting stations to enhance your angling skills plus seminars on water safety, fish identification and fishing rules & regulations. Fishing Derby afterwards. We’ll meet in the Clinton Marina West Parking Area. Children up to age 15 are invited to bring their poles (or one will be provided). Everything else needed to catch fish will be provided, to include assistance from local anglers. We’ll give you instruction, supplies and bait. We’ll let you enjoy fishing with your little angler. If you need help we’ll be there! Registration will open at 11:00 AM, and the derby will run after our instruction sessions. You’ll be entered in drawings for each station you complete. 

Got older kids who want to participate? Bring them! All are welcome! No fishing licenses are required during the event!
